Only the finest calf leather is used in our production. Leather cutting is carried out by sophisticated and fully automated CNC machines. Premium leather is used for the uppers and the inside of our shoes for maximum foot comfort and the soles are made from either leather, rubber or neolid material. In 1980 Calvano started its operations within a 500 sqm factory with a staff compliment of 50. By 2008 Calvano moved to a 500 sqm factory producing over 150000 shoes annually. Today our numbers have increased phenomenally with a staff compliment of over 150 people working at producing first class quality products. We not only manufacture our own shoes but also our clients own designs under their brand name.
